JOB REQUIREMENTS: ***OPT Exercise Physiologist position will work to support all four of our Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation programs (Froedtert Hospital, Froedtert Menomonee Falls, Froedtert West Bend, and Moorland Reserve Health Center). FTE: 0.001000 Shift: Shift 1 Schedule: This position will work shifts Monday-Friday with hours between 0630-1730. It will also include a weekend/holiday inpatient rotation at Froedtert Hospital. Job Summary: Responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and educating patients receiving Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation (ICR), Cardiac Rehabilitation (CR), Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR), and Supervised Exercise Therapy for Peripheral Artery Disease (SET for PAD), chronic disease management, and primary and secondary prevention programming. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Minimum of an internship (480 hours) in a cardiac rehabilitation program is required.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelor\'s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or related field is required. Masters Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or related field is preferred.TRAINING DESCRIPTION: Participation in State and/or National Professional Organization preferred.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ACSM Exercise Specialist and/or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification preferred. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days. American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within one year of hire.
