Robert Half Patient Service Representative in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Description We are in search of a Patient Service Representative to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, helping them navigate through the registration process, and addressing their concerns with empathy and understanding. You will also be tasked with managing and maintaining accurate patient records.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate patient check-in and registration in a timely and efficient manner

• Handle inbound calls and queries, providing necessary information and assistance

• Utilize multiple software programs for data entry, ensuring accurate and prompt input of patient details

• Collaborate with medical professionals for seamless coordination during emergent clinical care interruptions

• Display empathy and build rapport with patients, addressing their fears and concerns while collecting their information

• Navigate through various health plans and insurance coverage details, applying acquired knowledge in real-time situations

• Maintain a fast-paced work rhythm, often on your feet, to assist patients in completing their registration

• Work closely with your team, contributing to the overall goals and objectives

• Utilize the Epic System for managing patient records and other relevant data

• Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, ensuring clear and effective communication with patients.

• Ability to handle authorizations, including insurance approvals and paperwork processing.

• Experience with benefit functions, understanding and explaining patient benefits as required.

• Familiarity with billing functions, including invoice generation, payment collection, and financial record maintenance.

• Skill in interpreting and creating charts and graphs for patient records and healthcare data analysis.

• Experience with the Epic System for managing patient records, scheduling, and other healthcare administration tasks.

• Proficiency in using Epic Software, ensuring seamless integration with other healthcare IT systems. TalentMatch®
