Job Description
Implements and supports application security solutions that scan and secure code, digital assets, and 3rd party libraries. Automates scanning by integrating security tools with CI/CD pipelines and processes to onboard, provision, and synchronize vulnerabilities to the enterprise ITSM system for remediation. Works closely with developers to ensure shift-left security, enhance developer experience and implement AppSec program maturity. Provides project leadership, security oversight, and risk management on security projects. Works to identify new security issues and risks and is involved in developing threat models & mitigation plans. Helps identify and document security objectives. Trains/mentors members of the team. Builds relationships and trust across the organization. Evaluates and recommends new and emerging security products and technologies. Works to develop and interpret security policies and procedures. Supports acquisition and vendor risk assessment due diligence. Proactively seeks solutions to mitigate risk and clearly communicate risks to the appropriate stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:
Typically a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically five or more years of relevant Application security and DevOps experience
Advanced technical and functional subject matter expert knowledge across security domain areas and cloud
Top 3 Skills:
Experience with SAST, SCA, and DAST toolsets.
Development/Automation experience with Java, Python, API, cloud & container technology.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Vulnerability Management.
Job Duties:
Perform the daily operation and execution of application security-related tools, processes, and controls related to cyber defense initiatives.
Work with development teams to onboard projects to SAST, OSA, DAST & IAST tools.
Manage, update, and migrate on-prem and cloud container infrastructure that hosts security solutions.
Collaborate with pipeline/CI-CD/DevOps teams.
Coordinate and drive remediation of identified risks and control deficiencies.
Optimize and shift left security processes to integrate security early in SDLC; recommend opportunities and solutions for continuous improvement and automation.
Serve as a technical and functional subject matter expert across multiple security domain areas, raising awareness, and communicating security risks within the company.
Support and participate in incident response and technical investigations as needed.
Ensure adherence to compliance regulations and policies.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Hands-on experience with application security toolsets like Fortify, Synopsis, Fossa, Web Inspect, GitLab, and other tools in the space of SAST, SCA, IAST & DAST.
Experience migrating and deploying solutions and services to Azure and AWS cloud.
Experience running and managing workloads on Kubernetes, Rancher, Docker images, and HELM charts.
Development/Automation experience with Java, Groovy, Python, API & SQL Database Technology.
Experience managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
Demonstrable experience running vulnerability management and risk management programs across organizations and evangelizing best development practices.
Knowledge of application threat modeling.
Extensive knowledge of software licensing, product and vendor evaluation, technical troubleshooting, and software processing improvement.
Working knowledge of IT audit and control, governance, asset management, change control, training delivery, and technical writing/documentation.
Extensive knowledge of information security technologies and administration.
Strong communication, agile project management, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,605.00 - $131,300.00 - $144,430.00
