Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Business Analyst Intern to join the team for a long-term project, and based on performance, there may be permanent career opportunities. You will work independently and with the Enterprise Transformation team to support the company's initiative to roll out the Horizon (Oracle) Cloud system. You will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. As well as be responsible for supporting department with daily operations, administrative tasks, and participate in all milestones of Horizon projects. Your Responsibilities: Assist with daily administrative tasks and provide support on various projects Gain industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments Support Enterprise Transformation deliverables for internal or external customers Assists with data entry and testing in a variety of systems and or spreadsheets Assist in preparing information and researching materials for assigned tasks May generate, review, and distribute daily/weekly comprehensive status reports Update and organize department shared drive and documents Gather and organize data for presentations Participate in the Business Analyst Community of Practice. Write functional designs, test scripts, training documentation. Roll out business system requirements. Participate in Testing. Gather and document business requirements Create Detailed User Stories Research problems and assist in developing solutions Present solutions and ideas to agile teams Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned You Must Have: Enrolled in a four year college degree program, or equivalent, in IT or Business Administration Excellent organization skills, follow-through, & analytical skills Strong attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and written. Ability to follow written and verbal direction, and effectively interface with employees, management, and customers. Ability to perform tasks under work deadlines. Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and well organized. Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions (a Taylor company) is seeking aSoftware QA Manager who will be responsible for leading a team of software quality analysts. The team is working on a growing product area focused on building new tools that help our customers modernize their traditional customer communication processes. The role will be responsible for hiring, performance and quality management, technical coaching, process development and oversight, technical leadership, and capacity management. It will coordinate work assignments in collaboration with Project Managers and Product Owners, engage with development resources, and work with the Operations teams to help support the product. Your Responsibilities: Manage team of up to 10 software quality analysts Manage staff time, work assignments, and skill-building activities Support incident and problem resolution Participate in projects as a consulting resource You Must Have: 5+ years in a direct staff management role 7+ years software quality in the following areas: data integration, web applications, and application security testing concepts Experience using and implementing software quality management Expertise with both traditional waterfall and Agile/Scrum processes Comfortable communicating with management team members and senior management Four year college degree We Would Also Prefer: Experience with projects confidential and regulated data (PHI, PII, PCI, etc.) Experience introducing quality automation tools and processes Microsoft Devops, Atlassian JIRA Experience working with offshore development teams Experience with QA of document production software (billing statements, EOBs, ANOCs, invoices, etc.) and mailing/shipping processes About Taylor Corporation One of the largest graphics communications firms in North America, Taylor's family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services, and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
