Under close supervision, performs basic preventative maintenance and safety inspections on motor coaches, complying with company policies, safety and DOT regulations including other duties as assigned. Mechanics must possess their own basic tools to perform their job duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: As instructed by supervisor or lead person, perform Jefferson preventative maintenance inspections (PMI), as qualified, within the industry time guidelines. Prime fuel systems on all Jefferson motor coaches. Jump start vehicles and replace belts as needed. Perform minor maintenance as instructed by the supervisor or lead person. Repair restroom valves as required. Remove or install seats. Perform tire duties such as Remove and install as per tire Wheel on and off program. Fuel buses.
