Job Title: Lab Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Lab Technician to perform laboratory tests using both conventional and computerized machines. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out laboratory work according to set standards, determining chemical and physical characteristics or composition. The role also includes setting up, readjusting, and operating laboratory equipment and instruments. A minimum of two years of post-secondary education in a related field is required, but equivalent education and experience may also be accepted. This role also involves maintaining records, updating information, tracking results, and responding to standard customer questions regarding formulas and the mixture process. The Lab Technician will be responsible for cleaning, maintaining and calibrating standard equipment, as well as maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

This is a fully on-site position in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Work Environment
This position is based in an industrial laboratory setting, not a clean room/biological lab environment. Flexible 1st shift hours are available, typically Monday to Friday, working an 8-hour shift (starting at 7/8 until 4/5). Core hours are from 8-4pm. The dress code is business casual, but a lab coat will be worn during working hours. There are opportunities for internal promotion, but candidates should be aware that there may or may not be the possibility of conversion after 9 months in the role.
