Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will troubleshoot and repair various hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and some electrical equipment. Prioritizing safety-related work orders to ensure the safety of all team members is crucial. You will perform scheduled preventative/predictive maintenance and handle emergency repairs. Additionally, you'll engage in fabrication projects for all areas of the plant using a lathe/mill and various pieces of welding equipment.

Hard Skills

  • Experience in Technical Maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment

  • Proficiency with PLC’s and VFD’s, especially Allen Bradley Communication Protocols

  • Ability to use a lathe/mill and welding equipment

Soft Skills

  • Excellent decision-making

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Effective communication skills

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Work Environment

The work environment is a sand casting foundry, which differs from a steel foundry. It is generally comfortable, though it can get a little warm in some areas at times. The facility manufactures small to mid-size components used in the aerospace industry.
