This is a full-time position. Work location can be in- person, hybrid, or remote. This position carries complete University benefits. Qualifications Required: * Bachelor's degree or higher in horticulture or related field * 2 years experience in horticulture or a related field * Or a combination of education and experience related to horticulture or related field to total 6 years * Demonstrated evidence of organizational and project management skills * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and team-building Preferred: * Experience maintaining websites and managing online presence for our team * Experience serving in a supervisory role * Experience facilitating meetings and active listening * Experience with statistical analysis (SAS or R) and data visualization * Experience presenting information to multiple audiences Duties/Responsibilities (70%) Administrative support duties, including procurement (obtaining quotes, purchasing, and reconciling purchases); scheduling and facilitating meetings, keeping detailed meeting notes, assistance with preparation of grant proposals (collecting letters of support and required grant forms, assistance with reference materials and bibliographies); managing projects (planning and coordinating tasks, managing budgets, communication with stakeholders). (15%) Research support duties, including assisting with data analysis and visualization, preparing presentations, and creation of materials for horticultural outreach; assist with preparation of grant reports, and reviewing and editing manuscripts for publication. (15%) Web support duties, including maintaining an active web presence using Drupal platform, updating social media accounts, and communications/marketing duties.
