Xylem Applications Engineer in Mira Loma, California

The Application Engineer is responsible for providing technical sales support to both external sources (consulting engineers, contractors and end users) and internal sources (regional managers, project management/ engineering, manufacturing and after-sales service) to obtain sales orders to meet set sales goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering required.
2-5 years' related experience with submersible pumps, mixers or wastewater equipment including pump sales and service.
Must have knowledge of pump hydraulics and construction.
Strong math and engineering skills required.
Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to review pump specification and drawings.
Provide pump or mixer selection to the consulting engineers, sales team, and/or municipalities.
Ability to work with ambiguity, manage multiple municipal wastewater projects at once.
Take ownership of leadership role in group meetings and projects.
Professional Engineering (PE) certification preferred.
Salesforce, MathCAD, and Pump Selection Software experience is a plus.

$63,600.00 - $101,800.00
