Aerotek Machine Operator in MIRAMAR, Florida

Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking Machine Operators who will follow Batch Record instructions specifying materials, components, labeling, processing parameters, in-process sampling, testing, and inspection. The operators will monitor equipment operation, processing parameters, and product quality. Operators will adjust equipment based on feedback and inspection results, troubleshoot minor issues, clear machine jams, and perform changeovers for new products. They will also conduct product counts, initiate and confirm line clearances, clean equipment and areas, and complete necessary documentation.

Overview:

  • Manufacturing facility (climate controlled/cleanroom)

  • Shifts Available:

  • Day Block A (Sun-Thurs), Day Block B (Tues-Sat)

  • 1st shift 7am-3:30pm

  • 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm

  • 3rd shift 11pm-7:30am

  • Flexibility for overtime is required. Initial training is conducted during the first week from 8-5 M-F, followed by technical training on designated shifts.

  • Pay: $21.50-$22.50/hr

  • Location: Miramar, FL

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position - benefits, 401k, and weekly pay available while on contract

Responsibilities

  • Follow Batch Record instructions for materials, labeling, processing parameters, sampling, testing, and inspection.

  • Monitor equipment operation, processing parameters, and product quality.

  • Adjust equipment based on inspection feedback and Batch Records.

  • Clear machine jams and troubleshoot minor production issues.

  • Perform machine changeovers for new products.

  • Conduct product counts, initiate Line Clearance and Cleaning Procedures, and confirm completion.

  • Disassemble, wash, rinse, and reassemble equipment during full changeovers.

  • Complete all associated documentation as specified in Batch Records and SOPs.

Qualifications

  • Experience with machine operation and setup.

  • Ability to troubleshoot basic/minor issues.

  • Experience with packaging and filling machines.

  • Ability to perform maintenance repairs and changeovers.

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical industry cleanroom.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong English communication, writing, and reading skills.

  • Accurate counting and basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, GMP environment in the packaging area. Each packaging line consists of 7-14 employees, including mechanics and material handlers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miramar, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $22.50/hr.
