General description

As a member of the Organizational Learning team, you will thrive as an internal Learning Consultant to support aircraft build programs. This customer-centric role offers collaborative experiences with all levels of the organization, in Canada and Internationally. You will build strong professional relationships, influencing and impacting business priorities throughout the organization. What are your contributions to the team?

  • Support a group of internal clients; assessing business needs and creatively delivering solutions;

  • Liaise with Directors and Leaders to establish governance to prioritize learning activities to optimize timeline and budget to meet performance indicators;

  • Develop, plan and deploy learning activities, across various modalities; some learning material development may also be required;

  • Guard competency compliance, in adherence to the Bombardier Quality Management System and Canadian Aviation Regulations;

  • Lead learning projects: scoping, planning, cost/benefit analysis and driving milestones to impact key KPIs;

  • Execute and evaluate effectiveness of learning solutions and influence Leaders to improve quality and versatility of employee performance;

  • Partner with HR to address competency/training needs for union and non-union manpower: employee transfers, role changes, new hire onboarding and integration;

  • Conduct skill and knowledge gap analysis in the operations environment and recommend individual and collective learning needs. Work collaboratively with production, quality, engineering, union, HR and various other stakeholders;

  • Actively participate in Organizational Learning projects, engagement activities and the innovation of policies, procedures, tools and solutions

How to thrive in this role?

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in adult education, or equivalent experience

  • You possess eight (8) and more (+) years of learning and development experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • You achieve influence using written and spoken communication skills in English. French and Spanish are considered an asset.

  • You possess exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize work.

  • You foster teamwork by networking, bringing synergy to the team, and mobilizing resources for execution.

  • You naturally apply project management and change management principles and actively seek opportunities to solve problems and drive improvement;

  • You devise clever ways to engage your peers and stakeholders so that they see you as an important partner that meets their needs.

  • You meet obligations through effective work habits such as meeting deadlines and managing priorities.

  • You challenge the status quo, while optimizing standards and best practices;

  • You have a strong interest in exploring new technologies to innovate learning: VR, AI, integrated systems;

  • You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and LMS; PowerBi experience is an asset;

  • You have experience in a unionized manufacturing environment (asset);
