We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliableMachine Operatorto join our production team at a leading manufacturer of dessert products. The successful candidate will operate and maintain machinery used in the production of frozen and refrigerated desserts, ensuring that all products meet quality standards while adhering to safety and cleanliness protocols in a cold storage environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation and Maintenance:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor production machines to produce dessert products (e.g., ice cream, pastries, frozen cakes, etc.) efficiently.
  • Perform regular machine inspections, troubleshoot malfunctions, and adjust settings to optimize performance.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and changing parts on production machines.

• Production Monitoring:

  • Monitor the production process to ensure products meet quality standards, including texture, appearance, and packaging.
  • Ensure that all products are produced in compliance with company specifications and industry food safety regulations.
  • Keep accurate records of production runs, downtime, and any issues that occur during shifts.

• Cold Storage Compliance:

  • Work in a cold storage environment (temperatures between [range of temperature]) and ensure safe handling of frozen and refrigerated products.
  • Ensure that machines operate efficiently in cold conditions and that products are stored properly after production.

• Quality Control:

  • Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and safety standards.
  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet specifications.

• Safety and Cleanliness:

  • Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines while working with machinery and in the production area.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to avoid contamination or accidents.

• Collaboration:

  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Communicate any operational issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

  • Previous experience as a machine operator in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry (desserts, frozen foods, or related fields).

• Technical Skills:

  • Basic understanding of machine operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Ability to work with production machinery in a cold storage environment.

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a cold storage environment.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

• Attention to Detail:

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

• Safety-Focused:

  • Knowledge of food safety protocols and workplace safety guidelines.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
