DAS North America, Inc. Electrical Engineer in Montgomery, Alabama
- Install and integrate electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment, ensuring all electrical systems comply with industry standards and regulations;
- Perform regular maintenance on electrical systems and components to ensure optimal performance;
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent system downtime;
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in manufacturing equipment and systems;
- Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes of electrical malfunctions;
- Manage the manufacturing plants electrical facilities and power distribution systems;
- Monitor power systems to ensure they operate within specified parameters and efficiency levels;
- Plan and execute upgrades to electrical systems and equipment to improve performance and reliability;
- Implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes;
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements;
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments of electrical systems;
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and manufacturing technologies to apply innovative solutions;
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions in electrical system operations;
- Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and production teams regarding electrical systems;
- Train staff on the proper operation and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems; and
- Maintain detailed records of system performance, maintenance activities, and all electrical installations and repairs.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or closely related field of study;
- Experience in managing electrical facilities and power systems;
- Understanding of electrical engineering concepts and principles, power systems, control systems, and automation;
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment; and
- Analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
