Job Information

DAS North America, Inc. Electrical Engineer in Montgomery, Alabama

  • Install and integrate electrical systems and components for manufacturing equipment, ensuring all electrical systems comply with industry standards and regulations;
  • Perform regular maintenance on electrical systems and components to ensure optimal performance;
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent system downtime;
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in manufacturing equipment and systems;
  • Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes of electrical malfunctions;
  • Manage the manufacturing plants electrical facilities and power distribution systems;
  • Monitor power systems to ensure they operate within specified parameters and efficiency levels;
  • Plan and execute upgrades to electrical systems and equipment to improve performance and reliability;
  • Implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes;
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements;
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments of electrical systems;
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and manufacturing technologies to apply innovative solutions;
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions in electrical system operations;
  • Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and production teams regarding electrical systems;
  • Train staff on the proper operation and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems; and
  • Maintain detailed records of system performance, maintenance activities, and all electrical installations and repairs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or closely related field of study;
  • Experience in managing electrical facilities and power systems;
  • Understanding of electrical engineering concepts and principles, power systems, control systems, and automation;
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment; and
  • Analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues.
