Position Summary

Location:5500 Royalmount Avenue, Suite 335, Mont-Royal, QC H4P 1H7

Department:Accounting

Job Type:Temporary, full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (minimum of 24 hours/week)

Reports to:Corporate Controller

Start Date:May 2025

Contract Length:1 year with possibility of extension

Your Mission

Under the supervision of the Corporate Controller, the Accounting and Administrative Technician will record and pay supplier invoices in accordance with established policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for various administrative tasks.

Main Responsibilities

Accounting:

  • Preparing and sending monthly invoices

  • Issuing checks and payments by EFT, wire transfer, or transfer

  • Printing invoices and matching them with checks

  • Categorizing payments (physical and electronic)

  • Balancing payroll accounts

  • Preparing year-end statements

  • Tracking cash receipts

  • Performing other related accounting tasks

Administration:

  • Processing and distributing correspondence

  • Managing office supplies and other inventory

  • Organizing office events

  • Managing the lodge and all related tasks

  • Organizing office records

  • Communicating with office owners

  • Performing other related administrative tasks

Your profile

  • Hold or be in the process of obtaining a college diploma (D.E.C.) in accounting, administration, or a related field

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting, administration, or a related field

  • Be rigorous, autonomous, and organized

  • A strong ability to work to tight deadlines

  • A good team player

  • Excellent command of written and spoken French

  • Functional proficiency in written and spoken English

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Familiarity with accounting systems will be considered an asset.
