Job Description:
TD Asset Management (TDAM), a member of TD Bank Financial Group, is a leading North American investment manager offering progressive investment solutions to both institutional and individual investors. Position Description
We are looking for a quantitative analyst to join our Quantitative Equity group in Montreal. The candidate’s key responsibilities will be to build and maintain applications that collect, check, and analyze financial data.
Several production systems already exist, and they are used to manage live portfolios. The candidate will share responsibilities with other team members to maintain and improve the current data processes used to manage live portfolios.
Requirements:
M. Sc. or Bachelor in economics or Computer Science or equivalent
Programming experience with transact SQL / Phyton / .Net / Javascript
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently
Team player with strong sense of commitment
Skills Desired:
Experience in data processing / operations in quantitative asset management
Experience with financial databases such as Compustat, Bloomberg, Reuters, Worldscope etc.
Financial Industry experience
Experience in mathematical, analytical, and financial modelling
Experience in quantitative modelling
Please note employees will be going to the office 4 days starting March 2025
