The role we are offering you:
By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to create and improve web applications, scripts or databases in order to optimize the working tools of the engineering departments.
Are you ready to:
Add functionality to web applications.
Assist in the analysis, budget planning and deadlines for the development and maintenance of new web applications.
Bring the organization's applications to their full capacity for use.
Fix bugs and optimize existing applications.
Model or modify databases.
Introduce artificial intelligence.
Support the evolution of platforms (virtual machines)
Report creation (PowerBI)
Document the processes in UML
We are looking for someone who can show initiative; is self-motivated, diligent, resourceful, with strong analytical, conceptualization and programming skills. The highly collaborative work environment requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Our ideal candidate has:
Knowledge of web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP
Knowledge of PHP framework such as CodeIgniter;
Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as NodeJS, Angular and React;
Knowledge of C#, .Net
Knowledge of MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture;
Knowledge of REST architecture as well as Web APIs;
Knowledge of unit and functional testing techniques;
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server databases;
Knowledge of UML diagrams
Knowledge of "GIT" version management software;
Basic knowledge of Windows Server 2019 with IIS;
Knowledge of Agile / Scrum / DevOps methodology;
Knowledge of spoken and written English and French;
Assets:
Knowledge of Azure DevOps
Knowledge of Containers
Knowledge of Power BI
Knowledge of ASP Classic
Preferred Education
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in web development or related field with 2 years/ 1 internships completed
Location of the internship is CAE Montreal.
Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.
*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.
*Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 16 weeks.
