As the Senior Director, HR Business operations, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact by reducing complexity, enabl ing global scalability, and increas ing operational efficiency and effectiveness within HR operations to enable an engaging employee experience.

Are you ready to :

  • Develop and implement the roadmap for the HR Business Operations function, aligning it with the overall HR and organizational goals ; while using all the work that was done and established already over the past couple of months during the HR Transformation exercise.

  • Work closely with COE & HRBPs leaders and to understand business needs, identify opportunities for transitioning some processes , and ensur ing alignment of HR initiatives with organizational objectives .

  • P rovide operational leadership in the delivery and administration of HR services

  • Establish the priorities, framework, and governance for enterprise and country-specific service delivery (e.g., enhancing HR systems, enabling self-service)

  • Assess the competitive landscape and key strategies to shape the HR operations requirements for the business

  • Enable long-term operational excellence through virtual administration of processes within scope of accountability

  • Enable standardization and improvement of service delivery mechanisms, processes, and systems

  • Assess employee experience trends and issues to improve service efficiency / effectiveness and the employee experience with HR services (e.g., portal design, system workflow)

  • Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., COEs, HRBPs) to ensure the optimal delivery of HR services produces expected results through a positive employee experience

  • Collaborate with internal customers to understand results of HR services and identify opportunities to enhance service delivery

  • Lead the governance to identify and enable operational improvements, including the intake of new work / expansion of scope of services

  • C ollaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements, technology, training requirements, etc. that will improve HR service

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement (people, process, tools)

  • Establish and manage HR Operations vendor strategies and relationships in alignment with employee experience and budget requirements

  • Ensure HR Business Operations talent programs, policies and processes account for country norms and regulatory / legal requirements

    Our ideal candidate has:

  • Has proven experience as a seasoned HR professional with strong leadership skills in communication, collaboration, problem-solving, decision-making, strategic and critical thinking. Experience required (10 + years – ideally supporting multi-site locations in a matrix environment and 5 years  Human Resources Management and Leadership experience)

  • Holds experience partnering with and influencing senior leaders including Executives.

  • Has a passion for results; constantly thinking of ways to positively impact the business in an ethical and integrity-based manner.

  • Uses and analyses data and metrics to make fact-based decisions which positively impact the business.

  • Holds a University Degree (preferably Human Resources or Management). MBA and/or CHRM accredited as an asset.

  • Can demonstrate successful management of multiple projects and ability to complete competing priorities quickly while balancing the needs for quality.

  • Has encountered a variety of complicated situations outside of standard policies requiring the regular use of ingenuity, innovation and decisiveness.
