KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Information Security Officer (ISO) / NITSO to join our Global Technology & Knowledge group which is part of KPMG International organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary contact for information security matters; lead the "Information Security Officer" team in the delivery of security management services, including vulnerability management, incident management, change management, implementation, operational reviews

  • Collaborate with business and technology management as a trusted advisor for information security management

  • Oversee " Information Security Officer" service operations management and drive strategic enhancements to the service and KISL security posture; conduct performance and development management of the Information Security Officer team and act as a mentor to other information security officer resources

  • Prepare and deliver management reporting to leadership, including the Global CISO, Global CIO, and Head of Global Digital Risk; contribute to the response for information security topics as requested by submitted member firm client queries

  • Add to assurance activities, including to the Information Security Management System (ISMS) that supports ISO 27001 and 27017 certifications, SOC2 attestations of systems as well as internal audits (including SoQM)

  • Contribute to remediation for audit findings and continuous improvement initiatives based on leading practices

Qualifications:

  • Minimum ten years of recent experience with a minimum seven years of recent information security experience within a corporate environment (global companies preferred)

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as computer science, computer engineering, information security); Master's degree from an accredited college or university a plus; professional security qualifications such as CISSP preferred; must be willing to obtain CISSP, if not already certified

  • Possess subject matter expert knowledge in key information security management processes, including incident, vulnerability and change management, information security risk management and business resilience

  • Excellent understanding and practical experience of security management, certification and assessment standards we well as risk treatment principles for cloud environments

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of global and regional issues and structures, and effective at working with people from many different cultural backgrounds; strong business process analysis, performance assessment, project management and risk assessment skills; strategic and critical thinker with a proven history of moving strategic plans into action

  • Experience managing teams and leading projects; excellent written and verbal communications skills
