Position Title: Mechanical Technician
Location: (Wayne, NJ)
Pay Rate: $25 - $39 per hour
Work Schedule: 4/10 Work Week (First and Second Shifts Available)

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain mechanical and automotive equipment relevant to aerospace and defense applications. • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues promptly to maintain operational efficiency. • Conduct equipment calibrations and adjustments to meet operational specifications. • Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and potential issues. • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and implement process improvements. • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards. • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and adjustments accurately. • Participate in training sessions to stay current with the latest technological advancements and industry best practices.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a technician in mechanical or automotive fields.
Strong understanding of mechanical and automotive systems and equipment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
