We are seeking skilled and dedicated Mechanical Technicians and Automotive Technicians to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the maintenance, testing, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment. Position Title: Mechanical Technician

Location: (Wayne, NJ)

Pay Rate: $25 - $39 per hour

Work Schedule: 4/10 Work Week (First and Second Shifts Available)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain mechanical and automotive equipment relevant to aerospace and defense applications. • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues promptly to maintain operational efficiency. • Conduct equipment calibrations and adjustments to meet operational specifications. • Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and potential issues. • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and implement process improvements. • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards. • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and adjustments accurately. • Participate in training sessions to stay current with the latest technological advancements and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, or a related field is preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a technician in mechanical or automotive fields.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical and automotive systems and equipment.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
