Pole Frame Carpenter

Job Description

Our company is seeking a Carpenter to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will operate tools such as nail guns, hammers, and tape measures, and should be able to read, understand, and build according to construction plans. Key responsibilities include executing tasks needed to complete commercial buildings, such as digging and installing footings, framing doors, and finishing wood/metal trim. All work is exterior-based. The role involves occasional height requirements of 30-45 feet; safety measures are always in place but comfort at such heights is necessary. Bonuses are available after the first year of employment, and can constitute a significant part of the total income.

Work Environment

Work environment includes project sites such as agricultural buildings, barns, garages, office buildings, and outbuildings. Teams are composed of 4-6 people based on the project, with projects typically completed within 4-6 weeks. Transportation to work is provided via a company vehicle from a local meeting spot. Potential travel may be required depending on the project location. Work is primarily outdoors and carried out year-round, regardless of weather conditions. Standard work hours are from 6am - 5pm, 5 days per week, with occasional voluntary Saturday shifts. Overnight stays may sometimes be required.
