The Senior Accountant is responsible for Closing month end activities (Trial balance certify in OS, schedules, financial statements issues follow up). This position is part of the Finance and Accounting Team and will be located in Morelos, Mexico. This is a remote position.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in closing month activities (Trial balance certify in OS, schedules, financial statements issues follow up) as well as Costing of Materials and Amortizations

  • Payments, Bank reconciliation & Cash pool and GRIR, PPV, MOH.

  • Control of expenses, corporate credit card, travel expenses vs policies in CONCUR platform. Ticket Car expense reporting by CC and user to prepare PR, subsequent compensation with the balance in SAP and KPI’s: Sales, Expenses, profit.

  • Vendor compensation & expense verification. Communication with suppliers. (payment schedule, invoice tracking, etc.).

  • Accruals for (legal, fiscal, finance, HR, etc.) Reconciliation of balance at the end of the month, and preparation of reconciliations Sec 110 in OS. Key contact with taxes advisor & tax review in a monthly basis.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline

  • Knowledge of MS Office, SAP FICO, OS

  • English language: Intermediately

  • Effective communication skills, Adaptability

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Law)

  • US GAAP

  • Annual tax calculation (included deferred Taxes)

  • One Stream software

  • Costing
