Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Morrisville, North Carolina

Description We are in the process of recruiting a Customer Service Representative in the sales industry, based in Morrisville, North Carolina. In this role, you'll be interacting with customers, managing inbound and outbound calls, and performing data entry tasks. This role is a contract to hire opportunity, providing an excellent chance to transition into a long-term position.

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer inquiries and complaints via various platforms including phone, email, and social media.

• Provide accurate information about products and services to customers as required.

• Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and effectively.

• Handle large volumes of incoming calls and customer inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer service.

• Escalate significant issues to supervisors as needed, ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Follow up on customer calls when necessary, ensuring all customer queries are resolved.

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and file relevant documentation.

• Adhere to communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.

• Continually develop and maintain a knowledge base of evolving products and services.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure quick and effective responses to client needs.

• Utilise Microsoft Excel and Word for various tasks, including order entry and scheduling appointments. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls

• Proven experience in a call center customer service environment

• Strong skills in data entry and order entry

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to schedule appointments effectively

• Experience in email correspondence

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• High level of organization and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and handle high volume of calls

• Good knowledge of sales industry practices and standards

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner

• Experience in using customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus

• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding customer service goals.
