Fleet and Maintenance Coordinator
Northwest Management, Inc., a full-service natural resource consulting firm located in Moscow, Idaho, is seeking resumes from motivated individuals with vehicle maintenance backgrounds.
Position Overview: The Fleet and Maintenance Coordinators primary focus is to keep a record, perform routine maintenance, and repair the Companys vehicle fleet, ATV pool, and forestry equipment. This position conducts routine vehicle services, maintenance, and inspections. Must be able to diagnose vehicle problems and prepare work estimates. Initially, this position is offered as seasonal employment with a 2440-hour per week work schedule.
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
Track and schedule maintenance and repairs for fleet vehicles and keep an accurate log or record of all work performed on the vehicles.
Provide reports to company leadership for recommendations on fleet vehicle acquisition, assignment, utilization, and replacement/disposal of fleet vehicles.
Assess vehicles and equipment to accurately diagnose problems and make repairs accordingly.
When vehicle breakdowns occur outside of the local area, determine the best alternative for getting vehicle repaired or retrieved.
Perform routine maintenance and repair of all company trailers and ATVs.
Assist with building maintenance within all company buildings and facilities as needed or requested.
Prepare and maintain all field/forestry equipment for immediate use.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Potential for assisting in Forestry Field assignments.
The following are desired, but not required qualifications for candidates:
Having or in the process of obtaining a Commercial Drivers License
A mechanical apprenticeship or vocational training
ASE or equivalent certification
Familiarity or experience with Natural Resources or Forestry
History of working independently or as a crew member, with minimal supervision while maintaining a high quality of work
Leadership and planning experience is highly beneficial
Compensation & Closing Date: This is a seasonal, hourly position with competitive wages depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.
