JOB DESCRIPTION: SKILLED LABORER/ TRADESMEN
Job Summary
The Skilled Laborer/ Tradesmen performs specialized tasks using advanced skills in a specific trade or construction discipline. This role involves working under the supervision of Superintendents or Project Managers to complete specific duties such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, welding, or other trade-specific tasks. The Skilled Laborer is expected to use a variety of tools, machinery, and materials to ensure high-quality work and efficient project completion while adhering to all safety standards.
Responsibilities
Perform specialized tasks in accordance with their specific trade.
Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to complete trade-related duties.
Being able and assisting in reading and interpretation of blueprints, plans, and drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
Measure, cut, and install materials according to specifications.
Prepare and organize work areas and materials.
Collaborate with other laborers, tradespeople, and workers to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues and obstacles.
Follow project schedules.
Maintain and store tools and equipment properly to ensure safe and efficient use.
Adhere to all company policies.
Assisting with training or supervision of General Laborers in the trade.
