City of Moses Lake Roller Rink Lead in Moses Lake, Washington
*The City of Moses Lake is accepting applications for a Roller Rink Lead seasonal, part-time position in the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department. *
Under the direction of the Recreation Supervisor, the Roller Rink Lead will oversee all staff and public safety at the Larson Recreation Center and Roller Rink. This temporary seasonal position will assist in operations of the facility with other temporary staff and reports directly to the Recreation Supervisor.
Essential functions of this position include but are not limited to: Rink Guard as needed in a conscientious manner while attempting to improve the quality of the roller rink facility. Complete in-service training/training material for rink positions. Respond quickly, effectively, and efficiently to all emergency situations. Communicate with rink guards and public. Report fully all accidents/concerns involving any aspect of the facility to the Recreation Supervisor. Process incident reports. Maintain a clean work environment. Enforce all rules fairly and appropriately. Perform basic maintenance of roller rink. Regularly empty all trash cans around the facility. Pick up all trash around the facility, including the parking lots and BMX track. Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment. Answer customers' questions and provide information on procedures or policies. Greet customers entering establishments. Communicate customer requests to management. Accurately and efficiently receipt cash into cash registers. Accurately maintain all cash and cash registers. Process daily revenues and create deposits. Teach lessons as needed in a conscientious manner while attempting to improve the quality of the roller rink program. Maintain roller skates and ensure they are safe for public use. Conducts rink cleaning and preventative maintenance to surface of the roller rink. Perform additional related duties as assigned.
