Knox County Career Center Schools is a public school district located in Mount Vernon, Ohio that serves preschool students, over 600 high school students in 19 career technical programs at Knox County Career Center, and adult students in 12 Career technical programs through Knox Technical Center. Job Title: Career Based Intervention Instructor and Credit Recovery Program
Start Date: August 2024
Reports to: High School Principal
Salary: Based on experience and education
Work week/Year: 186-day contract
Minimum requirements:
Current OH High School Intervention Specialist License
CBI Endorsement OR be able to meet ODE's requirements for a CBI Endorsement: Baccalaureate Degree
Two years of successful teaching under a professional, permanaent, resident educator or five-year career technical teaching license. One year of full-time work experience outside of education
* Ability to develop and implement career readiness curriculum
A proven genuine interest inhight school level students
Strong communication skills and an ability to relate well with students, staff, parents and the community
Teamwork approcach to education
Must complere BCI/FBI and drug test
