Job Overview:

Maintains timing according to the work flow schedule to ensure on-time material transfers and availability

Most of your day will be spent in a company-owned vehicle, safely driving and transporting, pharmaceuticals, wheel chairs, food, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, equipment and related items to all departments at Children s Specialized Hospital sites.

Qualifications.

Required:

Current and in good standing NJ Driver's License,

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full Time - Day

Essential Functions:

• Load and unload company vehicle with appropriate equipment

• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior

• Conduct pre post trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat and orderly vehicle

• Handles all special mailings such as express letters, packages, certified or registered and makes telephone calls to request these pick-ups if and when necessary

• Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation and adaptability with teammates and clients

• Sorts, distributes and collects all incoming mail and interoffice correspondence; dispatches all outgoing mai,

• Provides back up supervisory support

• Weighs outgoing mail and affixes postage to letters and parcels

• Prepares mail for Post Office by sorting and placing in sacks or trays

• Makes special deliveries and pick-ups for all sites

• Assists in taking physical inventory of the General Stores

• Assists Stores and Receiving Clerks when needed

• Physical Demands

• Physical stamina to stand and walk most of working day,

• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds, and above 35 pounds will require assistant from other staff
