Microsoft Corporation Senior Manager, CISO Programs in Multiple Locations, United States

As the Senior Manager of CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) Programs you will develop and execute strategic programs that strengthen Microsoft's relationships with security leaders at the world's top enterprises . You will set ambitious goals for your programs, measuring its impact on security leader perceptions, CSAT (customer satisfaction) engagement, and acts of advocacy, and more. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Brand, and Customer Programs , you will be pivotal in shaping the future of enterprise cybersecurity by understanding and addressing the evolving needs of top security leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and scale Microsoft's global CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) engagement strategy, aligning it with the company's overall security vision and objectives

  • Design and implement impactful programs and initiatives that foster long-lasting relationships with CISOs and their teams

  • Partner with Microsoft's Office of the CISO to execute high-touchprograms that nurture our most strategic enterprise CISO

  • Manage virtual and in-person engagements with our Security communities including CISO/CxO audiences and industry alliances, including online forums, CABs (customer advisory boards), executive briefing center presence, and other forums

  • Leverage data and analytics to continuously optimize the CISO engagement strategy, measure program effectiveness, and identify new opportunities for growth

  • Drive impact through other teams: Create and lead partnerships with multiple matrixed teams; Become a trusted advisor to internal partners and stakeholders; Hold teams accountable to develop an engagement plan that builds trust with customers, partners, and the field

  • Define Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); track performance against success metrics and proactively act on performance

  • Identify opportunities to expand Microsoft's influence and thought leadership among senior security executives, and Boards of Directors

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams to align CISO programs with broader Microsoft initiatives

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years work experience at a branding agency or with product marketing, brand building, and/or strategy development

  • Experiencecreating and executing customer engagement programs for highly technical executives or practitioner audiences

  • Knowledge of priorities, challenges, and pain points facing today's CISOs and security executives

  • Experience in marketing, branding or product in SaaS security

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years creative strategy experience, which could include brief writing and/or managing strategy on the corporate or agency side

  • 6+ years experience managing projects (e.g., internal stakeholder management, timelines, prioritization, road mapping)

  • Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience developing and executing strategic programs and go-to-market initiatives

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive data-informed decision making

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and build through ambiguity

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing, and other teams to align programs with broader organizational initiatives and goals

  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to influence without authority

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities for data-informed decision making

  • Commitment to lifelong learning, with a demonstrated bias towards action

Brand IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
