Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Technician to join our team at Dubois Chemicals. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment and systems to ensure reliable, safe, and compliant operations. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations in a high-risk chemical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production and fleet equipment, pumps, mixers, piping, valves.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
• Perform facility maintenance, including plumbing, lighting, emergency systems, and structural repairs.
• Conduct inspections and testing of safety systems (e.g., ventilation, emergency shutoffs, gas detection, fire suppression).
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, blueprints, and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and facility-specific safety standards.
• Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist during plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and emergency response situations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in chemical, oil & gas, or manufacturing environments.
