Job Description
Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the production process to ensure efficient operations, meet production targets, and maintain high-quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to ensure on-time delivery of products.
Labor hour management and resource balance of manufacturing process.
Minimizes rework and scrap rates to achieved quality and cost target.
Monitor production output, quality control, and take corrective actions when necessary.
Implement and optimize production processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
Manage and supervise production teams, including setting work schedules and performance evaluations.
Coordinate with maintenance and process function to ensure that production equipment is maintained and in proper working order.
Continuously promote the improvement of personnel skills and position flexibility.
Manages and coaches a positive & high-efficiency production team.
Motivates team members to achieve yearly targets.
Collaborate with DBS to integrate lean manufacturing principles into production processes
Assess risks and safety hazards and implements plans to ensure people and equipment safety
Budget and cost control for production-related expenses.
Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation in production.
Works with Quality/FAC to resolve quality complaints and process non-conformance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechatronics or automation or a related field.
With basic knowledge in power semiconductor device.
At least 8 years working experiences in production related function and at least 2 years in managerial role Excellent organizational and planning abilities, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
SAP experience would be an advantage.
Experienced at Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or similar.
Good English communication, reading and writing skills.
Familiar with ISO9000 and ISO14000
Cooperative, Creative, initiative character and team player spirit are desired.
