Responsibilities
We are looking for a Plant Maintenance Technician II to join our team! In this role, you will perform preventive and reactive maintenance for plant manufacturing operations, ensuring maximum production rates and managing spare parts inventory. Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair machines and controls.
- Maintain and build job skills through training programs.
- Order replacement parts and control components.
- Contribute to CMMS performance through timely PM and repair work order completion.
- Respond to machine problems and contact Electrical Engineering for additional support.
- Support daily management directives and continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure safe and reliable operation of plant equipment.
Qualifications:
- Experience with electrical test equipment (e.g., voltmeter, ammeter).
- Understanding of machine functions and production machinery operations.
- Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with 3-phase industrial wiring and power distribution.
- AC & DC drive/motor PMs, wiring, programming, and troubleshooting.
- PLC I/O and networking troubleshooting.
- Motion training with servo drives and motors.
- Knowledge of NEC, UL508A, and NFPA 79 codes.
- Proficiency in Lock Out Tag Out safety procedures and Arc Flash PPE requirements.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
- Must be willing to work 2nd shift.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with plant personnel and vendors.
- Leadership, time management, and task prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
- Experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving.
Hourly Range:
$28.70 - $36.95 + $1/h shift differential pay
