Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Description
We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our rapidly growing environmental company. You will be required to work aloft, climb ladders, and use staging/scaffolding and other aerial equipment. The role involves long hours on your feet and working in various conditions such as snow, rain, cold, and heat. You will also perform tasks above your head and in tight quarters.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, skid-steers, and backhoes.
Perform general labor and environmental labor tasks.
Work on multiple projects, including environmental remediation, demolition, excavation, dredging, utility work, landfill cap and closures.
Read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
Utilize GPS machine control when necessary.
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety regulations.
Essential Skills
5-10 years of construction experience.
Ability to operate Excavators, Bulldozers, Loaders, Skid-Steers, and Backhoes.
Valid MA hoisting license with 1C/2A designation for MA jobs.
Ability to read and interpret plans and construction drawings.
OSHA 10 Hour certification.
License and reliable transportation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with GPS machine control.
40 Hour HAZWOPER training.
Ability to travel within New England.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
