Humana Space Planning & Strategy Lead in Nashville, Tennessee

The Space Planning & Strategy Lead manages and leads a matrixed workplace team organized to address all real estate and facility-related needs, including space planning, design, architecture, lease transactions, project management and facility operations. They are accountable to their business partners for the delivery of all Workplace Solutions services. They oversee and plan annual facility spending for office services, building and grounds maintenance, and facility expansion or improvement projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 8 or more years of workplace or real estate experience

  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience

  • Must be willing to travel up to 15% throughout the calendar year

  • This role is hybrid office, 3 days per week. Must reside within proximity to a Humana office(Louisville; KY, Tampa; FL, Arlington, VA, Ft. Lauderdale; FL, Charlotte; NC, Austin or Dallas; TX, Chicago; IL, Atlanta; GA, Phoenix; AZ, Nashville; TN and New York metro)

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

  • Comprehensive understanding of customers’ functional needs and associate/customer experience; problem solving skills to meet customers’ needs; empathy.

  • Superb communications skills with the ability to address senior leaders, associate colleagues, and vendor teammates coupled with the ability to mentor customers and junior teammates.

  • Demonstrated meeting and presentation skills to support town hall meetings of hundreds to intimate, one-on-one conversations with corporate and segment leaders

  • Superior time and calendar management skills; working with segment and corporate leaders to plan key engagements to facilitate operational and strategic decisions

  • Ability to lead and prioritize the projects and activities of a complex, matrixed team

  • The initiative, vision, and flexibility to achieve multi-year strategies in a turbulent environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) certification

  • Excellent working knowledge of real estate and human resources systems to help customers understand their organizational and facility needs: Workday, Associate Headcount and Demographic tools, Tango, CoStar, SerraView, Information Technology Intake Tools, Oracle, etc.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$104,000 - $143,000 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
