The Emergency Department Manager should demonstrate management skills of organizing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of the patient in a manner that upholds the goals and objectives of Field Health System, to ensure quality nursing care, to acknowledge the need for and the development of the ER staff.
This position works closely with the medical staff and all departments to provide quality patient care services. The Emergency Department Manager demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psychosocial, education, safety, and related criteria for the patient population under their care and direction.
This person will work closely with the CNO assisting with policy reviews/updates and providing employee education. They will uphold the facility's participation with the Mississippi Trauma Care System.
The applicant should possess an unrestricted Mississippi license and have Emergency Department experience.
