Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will perform all pre-award functions leading to the ultimate award of a contract. You will perform post-award administration of contracts to include the issuance of delivery orders and contract modifications. You will analyze incoming requisitions, requirements, and specifications/statements of work to determine correct contract type and procurement strategy. You will issue the synopsis to the Government point of entry or proceeds to prepare a Justification and Approval to procure supplies or services under an exception to the Competition in Contracting Act (CICA). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional contract specialist evaluating pre- or post-award documents for supply or service contracts to determine procurement strategy for an organization. GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting in the analysis of pre- or post-award documents for supply or service contracts to assist in the determination of procurement strategy for an organization. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education GS-09: Successful completion of 2 years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree OR Successful completion of a master's equivalent graduate degree GS-07: Successful completion of 1 year of graduate-level education OR Superior academic achievement Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
