JOB REQUIREMENTS: Industrial Engineer - R874 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Key Duties And Responsibilities * Executes strategic objectives of engineering function to ensure operational reliability consistent with the needs of the broader organization and to ensure the maximum availability and longevity of assets * Supports and/or conducts equipment feasibility studies for recommendations for investment; contributes to development of capital expenditure plan * Designs and manages capital projects to enhance efficiencies, improve performance, and meet growth plans, including defining the scope of work, budget, schedule and responsibilities * Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to implement capital investment projects to drive operational excellence * Supports key stakeholders on project design and management, supplier selection, new equipment acquisition and installation, materials acquisition, and process changes * Assures all tasks are performed in a safe manner, and comply with all company, local, state, and federal requirements * Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications Essential to this Position * The Industrial Engineer with Menasha Packaging will be responsible for providing technical support to Production, Maintenance, and IT in order to enhance and improve overall productivity in plant operations and processes. * Responsible for assisting plants on machinery layout, product flow, identifying and removing bottlenecks, and efficiency throughput improvements * Work with locations to ensure preventative maintenance programs are in place and fully functional. Help to identify training and development needs for maintenance function in all plants * Assist plants to optimize their production capabilities. Provide production management assistance when required * Assist division and corporate IT personnel on interface of the main business management computer system, with key production equipment or production functions * Oversee energy conservation process. Identify and implement projects and programs to reduce utility cost across division.
