Robert Half Administrative / Material Services Specialist in New Britain, Connecticut

Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative / Material Services Specialist in New Britain, Connecticut. This role primarily involves managing patient charges and maintaining medical records in a surgical environment. Additionally, the successful candidate will also assist in various administrative responsibilities and coordinate with different departments. Hours are 6:45am -3:15pm

Responsibilities:

• Input, verify, and reconcile all patient charges on a daily basis

• Maintain the integrity of patients' medical records during their surgical visit

• Assist in completing tasks specific to the Materials Management and Scheduling departments

• Coordinate the Vendor Credentialing system for Surgical Services

• Help in administrative duties including the preparation of reports, statistics, and correspondence

• Prepare and coordinate meetings as required

• Use various computer systems and software, including PeopleSoft, to perform tasks

• Manage warehouse and ensure efficient materials handling

• Coordinate and schedule various tasks and meetings

• Ensure all submissions are properly and timely made.

Requirements • Proficient in Materials Handling and Warehouse Management

• Strong ability in Scheduling and Coordination

• Experience in handling Correspondence and Meeting Preparation

• Familiarity with Medical Records and Credentialing

• Proficiency in the use of PeopleSoft

• Ability to conduct Submission and QA Management

• Good understanding of Statistics

• Excellent Computer Skills

• Knowledge of Surgical Skills is a plus

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work as needed

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• High level of professionalism and strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

• Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to changes quickly and think conceptually

• Solid time management skills
