Responsibilities: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping - Assist in cooking and preparing various dishes in accordance with set recipes - Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment - Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served - Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen - Ensure all food and other items are stored properly - Monitor stock levels of ingredients and kitchen supplies Requirements: - Prior experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment - Knowledge of food safety practices - Ability to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils safely - Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures - Excellent time management skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Physical endurance to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots or trays - Set up hot bar and prepare and serve customer orders - Operate register to collect payment of customer orders - Prepare pizza - Answer phone to take call in orders.
