Connecticut State Job Bank Electro/Mechanical Assembler in New London, Connecticut
Our very well established Mfg clients located in the Southeastern CT area have immediate needs for Machine Set-up/Operator Techs and Electro/Mechanical assemblers. Positions are full time, temp to hire and on
all shifts. The qualified candidates will have intermediate to advanced machine skills and/or experience in extruder operations and/or high speed packaging machine set-up.

Qualifications include but not limited to:
Basic math skills and problem solving skills
Read and write English
- High technical skills involved with machinery
- Basic computer knowledge
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of high-speed packaging equip.
- Ability to interpret shop drawing, schematics and blueprints
Set-up and operate various production machinery
Exp with extruders a plus
- Adjust speed, feeds and controls for operators
Perform first piece and in-process inspections
Use hand tools required for assembly
Quality control on first piece and in-process
Soldering and assembly of wire harnesses
$19.84-$20.84/hr. based on company and shift!
Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required
