Snap Inc. Product Manager in New York City, New York

Drive the Augmented Reality team's product roadmap for Lens Studio. Develop and prioritize strategies, product initiatives, and features to facilitate the development of more advanced AR experiences via Snap’s 3D authoring system. Partner closely with interface design, engineering, and other cross functional stakeholders to evolve what can be built with a Lens. Be an AR platform thought-leader translating the needs of the Lens developer ecosystem into products that connect developer experiences with Snap’s highly engaged AR audience. Analyze patterns and trends to expand the impact, utility and potential of Lens Studio. Create and present go-forward recommendations. Evangelize a scalable, platform-centric approach to AR authoring and development. Required education/experience: Bachelor of Science degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science/Analytics, or related quantitative field plus one (1) year of experience in product management or closely related experience. Required skills: Knowledge and/or experience in: Product management experience with mobile and/or AR/VR and/or gaming and/or 2D/3D authoring tools and/or developer environments. Knowledge of real-time 3D content-creation tools and game engines: Unity, Unreal, Maya, Blender, 3DS Max, Cinema 4D, and Adobe Suite. Knowledge of AR/VR technologies, including computer vision, machine learning, graphics, and rendering. Knowledge of desktop interface design methodologies and principles. Experience delivering developer platform products. Experience with data analysis, A/B testing frameworks, and statistics. Experience presenting complex topics to broad audiences.Knowledge/experience means knowledge/experience sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered.**OTHER: Job Site: Snap Inc., 229 West 43rd Street, New York City, NY 10036. *Hybrid work permitted - Snap practices a “default together” approach and expects our team members to work in the New York City, NY office at least 80% of the time (an average of 4 days per week). 40 hours/week; $168,000 - $252,000 per year.
