Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in New York, New York
Description We are offering an opportunity in the bustling city of New York, New York, in the rapidly evolving industry of Information Technology. This role is for an Accounts Payable Specialist who will play a key role in our team. The role involves working with accounting software systems, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting functions in relation to accounts payable. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Review and process invoices using the Core360 invoice approval system and Oracle Cloud Fusion
• Register suppliers and conduct expense report audits
• Prepare wire packages and handle transactions via BofA cash pro
• Participate in the migration of data into Oracle and prepare payment runs
• Oversee the processing of approximately 430 invoices and 115 expense reports monthly
• Use skills in Accounting Software Systems, Microsoft Excel, and Accounts Payable to ensure efficient and accurate processing of accounts payable
• Handle data entry tasks and resolve any discrepancies
• Utilize NetSuite and SaaS systems in daily operations
• Check processing as part of the role's responsibilities. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Check Processing
• Strong Data Entry skills
• Ability to identify and resolve Discrepancies
• Experience with NetSuite
• Knowledge of SaaS (Software as a Service) technologies
