Peloton Interactive, Inc. seeks Database Reliability Engineer in New York, NY:Job Duties: Contribute to small and large initiatives ranging from automation around datastore provisioning, observability, performance insights and SQL query optimization in partnership with service teams. Responsible for maintaining and scaling the data persistence layer (runtime datastores and databases) in coordination with service owners to power a world-class fitness experience. Design, develop and operate business-critical backend systems with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability. Implement self-service tooling and enhance the developer experience around databases as a service. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.Special Skill Requirements: (1) Relational database technology - Oracle or PostgreSQL; (2) AWS including EC2 and VPC Security (3) Aurora PostgreSQL; (4) DynamoDB; (5) Data Migration; (6) SCT; (7) Shell Scripting; (8) Python Programming. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.
