NBCUniversal is looking for a Manager, Staging Operations to join our Rockefeller Center Operations team in New York City! In this role, you will be responsible for:
Managing all day to day staging (carpentry, props, electric and special effects) needs in a 24/7 live and taped studio production environment
Responding to studio issues with urgency
Functioning as the on-site supervisor for all studio IATSE stage employees, USA scenic designers and scenic artists within the NY studios. Support facilities and ensure studio is safe, clean, and maintained.
Working closely with show tech managers and Staging Director to troubleshoot issues related to set construction and design
Setting crew schedules for each week
Oversight of AM/PM crews
Managing staffing of employees via Storm
BA/BS preferred
Minimum 5 years working experience in a studio production environment
Minimum of 3 years of management experience required
Must have strong working knowledge in set construction, studio lighting systems, and managing remote productions
Must have excellent client relationships
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Working knowledge of IATSE and USA union contracts and work closely with labor relations.
Must be willing to work in New York
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Must be 18 years or older.
Must be able to work in a fast paced, changing, team-oriented environment and possess a “hands on” management style.
Must be able to work all hours including weekends and overnights and be available 24/7 if needed.
Manager will be required to be onsite throughout production times
Excellent management skills with a demonstrated track record for meeting timelines and delivering results.

Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
This job has a shift of 12 pm - 8 pm. Please note the schedule may vary based on business needs.
