The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Employee Communications team as Senior Manager II, Employee Communications. This role will focus on developing and executing strategic communication plans that inform, engage, and align sales employees within LinkedIn’s Sales Solution organization. You will work closely with senior Sales leaders to ensure that key priorities, projects, organizational updates, and company initiatives are communicated clearly and effectively across all levels of the team.

Our ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, a history of partnering with executive-level leaders, deep business acumen, and highly creative communications skills, while being able to oversee the day-to-day execution of multiple projects. You should be passionate about using your communications and storytelling skills to amplify employee and customer stories both within the Sales Solutions organization and to our broader employee base. You should also have strong attention to detail, be open minded to adapt to news ideas, and an ability to work in a rapidly changing and matrixed organization while inspiring excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and act as a trusted strategic partner to sales executives, advising on communications strategies, and shaping internal messaging that provides clarity and engages employees.

  • Strong understanding of business goals, needs, and insights to recommend, develop, socialize, and implement communications strategies aligned with sales strategic priorities. Analyze engagement data and adapt communication strategies accordingly.

  • Recommend what channels are most appropriate and drive tactical execution across multiple communication formats and channels.

  • Develop clear, compelling, and inspiring narratives that simplify messaging for a variety of audiences.

  • Write and edit high-quality communications, including newsletters, executive messages, and internal announcements. Develop targeted messaging for different employee levels.

  • Organize and manage internal events such as Sales Kickoff, All Hands, AMAs, leader forums,, and other interactive forums to foster dialogue and engagement.

  • Lead communications for change management initiatives including new technologies, process updates, and organizational shifts.

  • Own stakeholder relationships with cross-functional teams, including HR, Chiefs of Staff, Marketing, Sales Enablement, Operations, R&D, and external communications to ensure alignment and consistency.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 9 years of experience in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related experience AND 3 years of experience in Employee Communications

OR

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field AND minimum 6 years of experience in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related experience AND minimum 3 years of experience in Employee Communications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience supporting senior executives, including the ability to advise on communications approach and messaging

  • 6+ years of experience in Employee Communications roles

  • Experience working with Sales or Go-to-Market (GTM) organizations

  • Ability to connect dots and see the bigger picture across a large global organization

  • Exceptional judgment and problem-solving skills, including the ability to operate with a high degree of discretion

  • A collaborative approach with the ability to lead through influence and steer outcomes among people of all backgrounds and levels

  • Business acumen – understanding of Sales or GTM concepts and terminology.

  • Project management – strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple communication initiatives simultaneously, operate with ambiguity, and inspire collaboration at all levels of the organization

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $141,000 to $221,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
