Citigroup SVP, Product Control Sr. Lead Analyst (Hybrid) in New York, New York
The Prod Ctrl Sr. Lead Analyst is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team.The overall objective of this role is to drive efforts to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.

Negotiate internally, often at a senior level, and guide and influence others, including colleagues in other areas
Provide solutions to complex issues, through in-depth analysis, intepreting results, and comparing and selecting between alternatives
Apply ingenuity and creativity to analyze issues and provide solutions for complicated situations
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in related role
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
Key Responsibilities:
*This is a senior level role that provides key controllership of all Corporate Treasury activity impacting Citibank NA (CBNA)
- Will monitor and analyze all activity related to CBNA particularly the investment portfolio, deposit asset and liabilities and all intercompany funding relationships
*Determines the proper accounting needed for all new activity entered into by Corporate Treasury on behalf of CBNA
*Provides in depth analysis on an ongoing basis to various teams regarding CBNA results
*Partners with the Regulatory Reporting team to ensure all information is correct in various filings including the CBNA Call Report, FR Y-9C and 14Q
*Key contributor from Controllers supporting the transition of the O/N Transfer Pricing process from FullSuite to CitiFTP
*Provides expertise from a Controller perspective for two Liquidity Forums; Liquidity Reporting Accuracy & Data Forum and Liquidity, Risk, Compliance & Control Forum
