Vice President, IAM Operations

Your Team & Role
As a Vice President, Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations in the Information Security Office you will partner with product owners, senior management and security professionals to lead operations for critical infrastructure.This role will involve ensuring the integrity, security, and availability of IAM systems, managing a team of IAM professionals, and collaborating with various departments to support the organizations security and compliance objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Identity and Access Operations, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day
Lead and design project and operational work across Operations teams, while architecting new controls, processes, and procedures to address Information Security risk.; remove highly complex technical impediments and align the roadmap
Design the future of the IAM Enablement program, from new processes/procedures to new relationships with other teams
Align to senior management's vision, while presenting status, metrics, and updates accordingly.
Establish the organization training plans, handle escalations, remove roadblocks, resolve conflicts both internal and external, communicate goals to the team end-to-end and deliver robust solutions that bring about business impact
Bring an expert understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, provide technical guidance and leadership to team members and role-model our continuous learning culture by embedding learning and innovation in the day-to-day
Maintain a broad knowledge of innovative security principles and theory
Oversee day-to-day operations of IAM systems, including cloud and mainframe system administration
Monitor IAM systems and processes for performance, security incidents, and compliance with regulatory requirements
Respond to and resolve IAM-related incidents and issues in a timely and efficient manner
Develop and deliver operational training to promote IAM best practices within the organization
Align to senior management's vision, while communicating status, metrics, and program updates accordingly
Provide technical guidance and leadership to team members and role-model our continuous learning culture by embedding learning and innovation in the day-to-day
The Skills & Expertise You Bring
Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fields
Knowledge of agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business
Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges
Ability to effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts and perspectives to the benefit of the organization
Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills
Proven experience in an operations capacity, including experience in a leadership role
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and lead multiple initiatives simultaneously
Significant experience and/or deep expertise with the following:
Identity Governance and Administration
Privileged Access Management
Data Loss Prevention and Data Security
Cloud technologies, including Azure and AWS
Mainframe technologies, including IBM Z/OS, CICS, DB2, IMS, RACF, and related utilities
Preferred qualifications:
Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA are helpful
