This postion requires English and French speaking skill, fluency in both preferred.

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director, Business Development, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) will build a pipeline and connect with as many leads as possible, educate and qualify the leads they connect with, and book qualified meetings to move the sales process forward. This is a junior position with room to grow within the organization.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop sales strategies to attract potential buyers or to solicit new potential customers, leveraging a variety of media including telephone & email, social platforms, and networking opportunities.

  • Build relationships with prospects to identify needs, qualify their interests and viability to drive new sales.

  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts to provide prospective clients with a personalized solution for their marketplace needs.

  • Present product information to prospects based on identified needs.

  • Develop and move solid leads through the marketing funnel, connecting them to a salesperson, and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls.

  • Maintain records using the customer relationship management software of all prospects and phases of activities.

  • Coordinate, plan, and execute outbound account-based marketing campaigns to book meetings and generate opportunities.

  • Conduct high-level conversations in Target and Prospect Accounts.

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing associates on qualifying prospects.

  • Collaborate with sales leaders to ensure the company's goals and targets are met.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

  • Adhere to established policies and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Proven record of lead generation, sales cycle management, inbound and/or outbound sales, achieving sales targets.

  • Proven track record of articulating product selling points via phone and email.

  • Coordinating appointments between customers and company representatives – strong organizational skills.

  • Understanding of the sales process, services, and products.

  • Able to build a professional network, internally and externally.

  • Remain positive and flexible in an ever-changing environment with shifting priorities.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent listening skills.

  • Ability to develop rapport, influence others, and maintain strong working relationships.

  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex issues clearly.

  • Must be self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently.

WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED

1 year of experience

EDUCATION

Required: Associates Degree or post-secondary education

Preferred: Bachelors Degree or equivalent
