Actalent Clinical Trial Rater in Niles, Illinois

Description:

The Clinical Trial Psychometric Rater is responsible for administering and interpreting cognitive, behavioral and functional tests (psychometric ratings) for assessing patients with mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia as part of a research clinical trial. The position is responsible for managing the psychometric ratings aspect of clinical trial performance at the site level in order to ensure that the data collection is in congruence with the specific scale administration guidelines. The Clinical Trial Psychometric Rater follows study – specific protocol guidelines and communicates and interacts with investigators, clinic staff, sponsoring agencies, and others to effectively perform required testing and related research activities. All duties carried out by the psychometric reader are done so in accordance with company policies and SOP‘s as well as Good Clinical Practice and applicable local, state and federal regulations. Professionals in this role actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility for developing and maintaining, mutually respectful relationships.

Qualifications:

Major Responsibilities:

• Documentation

• Skill development.

Per Diem - "As Needed"

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Proficiency in administering cognitive, behavioral and/or functional rating skills (at least 10 and preferably more than 25 administrations) of scales such as the MMSE, MoCA, ADAS-Cog, CDR, ADCS-ADL, NPI or similar scales in the past year).

• Detail oriented

• Strong critical thinking skills

• Strong ability to multitask

• Strong computer skills

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written and oral)

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

• Ability to support and demonstrate the mission and goals of the company.
