Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
A manufacturer in the northern Indianapolis area is searching for two machine operators on 1st shift. The ideal candidates will be responsible for operating machinery to cut and bevel glass, ensuring the final product meets quality standards, and maintaining the equipment.
Responsibilities
Select parameters to cut glass sheets via HMI.
Load machinery with suction cups or hoist.
Operate machine to cut and bevel glass.
Visually inspect the final product for polish, chips, cracks, etc.
Clean out machinery every two weeks.
Identify and report any machine issues to maintenance.
Essential Skills
Machine operation experience.
Ability to use a tape measure.
Quality inspection skills.
Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift.
Knowledge of CNC operations.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in saw operation.
Familiarity with forklift operations.
Attention to detail for quality inspection.

Work Environment
This role typically requires working 40-45 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some potential for overtime. The facility is equipped with various machines including conveyors, glass processing machines, sanders, grinders, cutting machines, and pneumatic tools. Safety is the top priority, and all necessary PPE is provided. The company is committed to ensuring all employees return home safely every day.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42546.00 - $42546.00/yr.
