Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve incidents in a timely and effective fashion within ServiceNow. Monitor incident trends and generated reports to provide insights and recommendations for improvement. Lead War Rooms and participate in on - call rotation maintaining application availability. Provide explanation and information to others including senior leadership on challenging issues

  • Utilize DataDog for proactive monitoring, identifying potential issues before they impacted users. Implement effective 360 degree monitoring to ensure quick alerting of any problems. Performance analysis using APM and other monitoring tools to identify system performance issues and bottlenecks

  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues, preventing recurrence

  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving technical problems and answering queries

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve incident management processes and workflows

  • Create and maintain documentation for incident management procedures, ensuring compliance with ITIL best practices

  • Deliver training and support to team members, enhancing overall team performance and knowledge

  • Work on deploying and managing Angular and Spring Boot applications in Azure, contributing to seamless cloud-based operations

  • Participate in Kanban methodology to deliver high-quality deliverables

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree. Equivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience will be considered

  • 7+ years production support experience including running war rooms, managing incidents using ServiceNow, presenting monthly SLA summary and RCAs to executives

  • 5+ year’s experience of Azure/DevOps

  • 5+ year’s experience supporting microservices based Angular/Java application

  • 5+ year’s experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL and Azure Cosmos

  • Proven knowledge of Observability tools like New Relic, DataDog, Dynatrace

  • Ability to participate as a member of a cross functional team

  • Proven proactive individual who takes ownership of issues

  • Proven good team player with constantly interact with other team members

  • Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements

  • Ability to identify solutions to non-standard requests and problem

  • Proven excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualification:

  • Knowledge of DataBricks and ETL pipelines
